If you enjoy Veggie Meats, check The Adventist Book Center. It has a huge

selection of dried, frozen and canned products. We used to live in Atlanta and

went there often. Here is the directions.

DECATUR

Directions

Decatur is on the east side of Atlanta. Traveling on I-285, take Exit 32.

Turn west on Memorial Drive for approximately one mile. The ABC is on the left,

about one block past Covington Hwy.

Store Hours

Monday through Wednesday 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Thursday 10:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.

Friday 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Sunday 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

You may reach our Decatur store by calling (404) 299-1191, or fax us at

(404) 292-6727.

We also love shopping at the Dekalb Farmers Market there in Atlanta. It

has produce from all over the world and spices from all over the world. There is

a great selection of breads and cheeses. They also have a cafe there and we

LOVE their food. Most all of it is Vegetarian.

There is also a great Vegetarian Indian Rest. called Indian Delights.

They have new owners I discovered on my last trip and they make things MUCH

HOTTER!!! I actually love hot food, but even most of this was to hot for me.

I am speaking about the new buffet they have set up. Items off their menu may

not be quite so hot.

Go enjoy these places for me. I'll be envious. LOL Can't wait until we

make a trip to Atlanta again.

Every other Saturday my husband and I go to all of the

ethnic stores on Buford Hwy in ATL. We spend hours

upon hours shopping and snooping. We found a wonderful

Oriental market that had an entire aisle of veggie

jerky and a whole frozen aisle of veggie meats and

seafood ( I love the tuna!). I would rather grocery

shop than anything else.

thanx so much for the info... I will have to check it

out! I don't know about the Indian place though... I

can't eat spicy foods, I always go to Desi Spice in

Midtown where I can get my food heat-free.
