Guest guest
We love growing fresh herbs in pots on the patio.. An extra large pot is just for Lettuce Leaf size Basil. We love to make fresh Pesto with it and many other things. We also grow chives, parsley, rosemary, oregano and dill in pots. I love having them close at hand to grab for a recipe. We grow cilantro also, but this time of year it starts bolting with our heat here. We just planted our veggie garden today. We use the Square Foot Gardening Method. It is the easiest way to garden and it looks beautiful. At our last home, all the neighbors would peak over the fence and just ooh and aw at this method of gardening. You can grow so much in a small space, especially if you grow part of it vertical. The guy just came out with an update book on this method and it is even easier. He had a show on PBS here for years. To read more about this method, . http://www.squarefootgardening.com/ Enjoy, Judy
