I have a little m & p that mostly I mash vitamin C in. For dry things

like flaxseeds and whole spices (and now the lavender - can't wait to

try that!) I use my old coffee grinder and just wipe it out with a

damp cloth/napkin w/ vinegar on it. When I lived in Sri Lanka, my

host sister used to just wash her m & p out with hot water and soap and

she used it for everything.

I'm wondering if, for wet things like garlic & stuff, could you use a

plastic bag and rolling pin?

I'd love a nice size m & p but have no room for one right now

*sigh*.

The mint-sugar sounds great - how do you do that? Wouldn't it be

great in lemonade!

Peace,

Diane
