It doesn't crush up my hard cardamom pods too well but it's it a cool design? Now Sissy uses the old rustic type they sell at the Mexican market and she will never part with it. I rinse a little fresh lemon juice or vinegar in mine and I never have a problem with it smelling or leaving a taste. Will you be coming back to the US anytime soon? Everyone sent good vibes and they reached me. It was a wonderful day and none of us believed Mom could stay that long. The food was mostly vegetarian but there was a platter of salmon and wings for the non-veg. guests and the grooms Dad ordered that and it was off to the side. Yay! Mya had baked ziti, stuffed mushrooms, bruchetta with a few delicious veg. toppings, lots various rustic breads, guacamole, chips, some type of a horseradish hummus with assorted crackers, mini spinach and feta turnovers, steamed vegetables and a huge tray of long stemmed strawberries and other fresh fruit. Bowls of fresh nuts and trail mix also, and the best huge packed spring rolls with all types of veggies and even chives stuffed inside.
