Guest guest
Hi Sharon, I sure wish you were in the states, I have an extra mortar and pestle and I would send it to you. Get a small inexpensive one for the lavender because you don't use that muh and it's not too hard to grind. I have a larger marble heavy one but seldom use it, the small one it perfect really. Not sure the cookies will help you sleep but I'll tell you they are tasty and make the house smell good as they bake up. Mya's wedding was gorgeous and the food was good too. Mom was able to go, was a long walk from the car but since my ex went with me we got her up the steps and she had a very good time, we found a nice area for her to sit and everyone kept coming by and talking with her, now of course she didn't recognize most of them but they understood. I took some pictures and so did Mo, the photographer and a few others. Mya said she will have some posted in the files in her folder soon too. Smiles, Donna Well I’m not the world’s most physical guy But when she squeezed me tight she nearly broke my spine Oh my Lola lo-lo-lo-lo Lola Well I’m not dumb but I can’t understand Why she walked like a woman and talked like a man Oh my Lola lo-lo-lo-lo Lola lo-lo-lo-lo Lola Well we drank champagne and danced all night. Guest guest
Oh Donna- That is so thoughtful of you to wish I was in the USA....me too- and not just for the M & P! LOL Thanks for the advice on the m & p-am wondering a little bit more- which is mostly about keeping it clean and 'fragrance' free.. Jamie Oliver does flavoured salts and sugars in his p & m and I am dying to try a garlic salt mixture idea that I have as well as mint sugar- but wonder about cleaning it out afterwards. Is there anything special done to them before/after *more* aromatic items are crushed in the m & p? I am so glad your mom felt well enough to make it to the wedding - I was sending lots of good vibes her way-and also that there will be pics available for us to see. Please be sure to let us know when we can see them! Great to hear the food was good- was it all vegetarian? If so, give us an idea of what all there was, please?! My heartfelt congratulations to Mya and her new husband and wishing them all the best in their future together!!!!!! Hugs, Sharon in SA
