Dear Guru Khalsa,

Heh, many of the British people I know have similar etiquette but slowly

getting wiser now.

My colleagues who shares the same office with me are slowly changing

behaviour.

This is because I offer them my cooked food at lunchtime :-)

They are asking questions and showing a lot of interest.

" How do you do this and that?, what is that spice?, how much do you put in?

etc, etc. etc " .

I even cook Kevin a vegetarian meal the other day with the Microwave Oven in

our office.

He was sitting down and eating his lunch in just 15 minutes.

The smile on his face was more than a Thank You :-)

This is what I cook ;-

Quick Lentil Curry with Home Grown Spinach( for 1 person)

----

1 small cup of lentil.

4 Spinach leaves.

1 medium onion.

1 Teaspoon Tumeric Powder.

1 Clove of garlic

1 Spoonful of Olive Oil

Method.

-------

Wash the lentil and leave enough water to cover the lentils.

Finely chop the Onions and Garlic.

Add the chopped Garlic and Onions and Olive Oil.

Now put it in the Microwave for 10 minutes.

Meanwhile, chop the Spinach into regular bite sizes.

Ting!...microwave just chimed :-)

Quickly stick in the cut spinach.

Cook for another minute.

Ting!...lunch is ready! :-)

Add salt and tabasco sauce to taste.

By the way, Jamie Oliver might just like this recipe.

I bet he will modify it and I will be happy :-)

Best Wishes,

Wee

RE: Americans are sicker than British

Wee,

I agree that it is just as easy to make good food as to go to the fast

food places. Tell that to Americans. That takes work. They'd rather sit

on their big behinds and watch someone dish out the hamburgers and Freedom

Fries.

Maybe you are right. Maybe we just need Jamie Oliver. If he will not

come willingly, we should stage a preemptive attack on the UK to get him

here. We'll let Dick Cheney lead. If you haven't heard he's pretty deadly

with a shotgun. ;>)

Wee,

Your recipe looks like an easy to fix healthy recipe that would be

great for anyone, whether vegetarian or not.
