I always see great recipes but they call for a bread machine...I attempted once to make Molasses bread the old fashioned way, but it came out as dense and heavy as a big, ol' brick! One slice of that and you would be full all day... Eiko > Hi Eiko > Yes, I love my bread machine. Some of the recipes I use are in the > files. This is the basic Wholewheat recipe that I use: > > Basic Wholewheat Bread > > 275 ml/1.25cups water > 1 Tbsp oil (I usually use grapeseed or sunflower) > 425 g/3 cups strong wholewheat bread flour > 1.25 tsp salt > 2 tsp soft brown sugar > 2 Tbsp dried skimmed milk powder > 2tsp fast-acting dried yeast > > Add all ingredients in the order required by your breadmaker.
