This is a unique recipe. I'll try it when I make some cake like this. ooks

like a good Mother's Day topping.

Lavender Whipped Cream

 

Watch your guests when they taste a spoonful of this

on top of a slice of pound cake.

 

Lavender Whipped Cream

 

1 cup heavy cream

3 tbsp. fresh lavender flowers or 1 tbsp. dried

lavender flowers (with no oils)

1 tbsp. sugar

Fresh lavender for garnish

HI- I have a question about this... when it says lavender flowers- what

exactly are we using- those tiny little complete flowers that stick out from

the lavender heads or are we talking taking a lavender head and gently

tearing it apart to get those individual little 'pellets' ( can't think of a

better word for those little piecesthat make up the actual blob on the end

of the stem! lol )

I am thinking the 'pellets' - but would think they would make whipped cream

awfully lumpy....
