Guest guest
Hi all, I am loving this group - so creative and tasty! I'm hoping y'all can help with some ideas for insta-foods. Around our house " insta-food " means stuff we can cook quickly on days when we both get home late and tired. I like to stock up healthy stuff ahead (big batches of tamales in the freezer) because when I'm tired and hungry I make bad food choices and eat junk (mmmmm mac & cheese from a box ). I am between batches of tamales right now and planning to do up some this weekend and I still have some piroshkis but I'm up for other ideas. We only have a small freezer so can't freeze too many big things like casseroles. peace, Diane Seattle, where the rain gods are on strike and have sent a big yellow thing to the sky... p.s. Amy - that peanut butter banana choc chip bread was awesome! My mom loved it too.
