Repost of a good sauce:

Quick Mushroom Sauce

 

 

1/4 pound sliced mushrooms

1/2 clove garlic

1 teaspoon butter

2 teaspoons cornstarch

1 cup low sodium vegetable broth

1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper (combined)

2 green onions, chopped

 

Add all ingredients except cornstarch and broth to a microwaveable bowl. In

a small bowl mix cornstarch and broth until well combined. Pour over

vegetable mixture. Cover and microwave on high for 3 minutes. Stir.

Microwave another 3 minutes or until mushrooms are tender and sauce is

transparent.

This sounds good. Actually I am so excited to see all the great recipes that

have been coming thru on here and in the file folder on the website. Thanks

Donna for a great collection of recipes and a place for us all to post them, to

share with each other.
