even tells you how to season it and not to use it on an open flame. In Morocco,

they use them on hot coals.

Sorry about the belated info. I hadn't finished reading through the

mail from this group before sending out my info on the subject. I

see the mystery was solved already. lol

You have what they in China a " Hot Pot " the " horn " in

the center when heated keeps the middle warm. It is

used fro baking though the chinese have breads you

don't see them in your garden variety Chinese

restaurants. If the top horn wasn't closed it would be

a Shabi Shabu pot used to cook meat and veggies in a

broth.
