Guest guest
Not so many recipes use prunes but we use them in German cooking. This really is a good recipe to try. Hello to everyone. Sandy German Noodles & Prunes 1 pound package wide egg moodles 2 Tbls. butter or margarine plus 1/4 cup 12 ounces of prunes 1 teaspoon brown sugar 2 cups bread crumbs Cook noodles and drain, while hot mix the 2 Tbls. butter and toss up. Put the prunes in small pan of water just enough to cover them and boil for 10 minutes, add the brown sugar and stir, add a little cornstarch to thicken liquid. Now fry the bread crumbs up in the melted 1/4 cup butter. Take a large bowl and put noodles in it and toss with the prunes and sauce. Serve as side dish and sprinle the bread crumbs over top. Is very good, really. How low will we go? Check out Messenger’s low PC-to-Phone call rates.
