I don't think you are wrong it's just a point they are making, it's

their life and their decision. I seldom wear mine either but I don't

tell anyone else they shouldn't.

Exactly Lily- thanks for writing that. ( And I hope I didn't come across

that I was saying people shouldn't wear seatbelts but that we should have

the choice.)

Thanks for writing about your experiences MaryBeth. I appreciate that you

felt strongly enough to come out of lurkdom to write! That is what happened

to me too- I felt I had to let Donna know she wasn't alone.

And as for Liz's complaint that we should cease and just send recipes-

thanks also for writing.

I don't know how you see the posts to this group- but I have gotten way over

100 -maybe over 200 emails- from here in the last 24 hours of which only 5

or 6 were about this issue. It's not like we were going on for days or

weeks over it- nor that it was a heated debate getting LOTS of attention.

The emails were clearly marked that they were not food related so you could

delete/skip them.

 

My sincere thanks to all to let us indulge in an off topic and to everyone

who spoke their feelings- well done!

My sincere apologies to anyone I upset while stating my thoughts and

opinions. It wasn't meant that way at all.

 

My next post will be food related!
