I was afraid to open your posts.LOL Yay! You are right. I only put it on when

I drive to work because there's no traffic and you can really sail to work on

the freeway at 4:30am and there are always cops along the way, I figure the

ticket would really be jacked up with that added to it.

Let me explain something that the insurance companies never tell you. How

about when a seatbelt might cause you to get injured or killed.

My girlfriend was driving by the LA airport and there's plenty of traffic, I

was in another car. A truck was trying to squeeze on the side of her car to

jump into the left turn lane, being very impatient he hit the center divider and

just as my friend runhooked her seatbelt and reached across to get something off

the floor in front of the passenger side this truck fell over on top of her

car. She would have been crushed if she was sitting straight up bound in with

her seatbelt.

I will take the chance and everyone else can happily wear there's.

They have that stupid law here in Australia too.

EXACTLY! We rarely do hear about the injuries CAUSED by the seatbelts... I

personally know of several incidences of people having severe internal

injuries because of them. That is not why I don't want to wear one, but

sometimes I wish they would make more publicly known the injuries that DO

occur while they are extolling the virtues of them.

Actually, what I wish for is the LEGAL CHOICE to wear or not.
