Guest guest Posted April 26, 2006 Report Share Posted April 26, 2006 I tried making the lentil crunchies yesterday and apparently the 15 minute rest time after boiling them was not sufficient to soften them up appropriately; I ended up with lentil rocks! Luckily, I must have guessed I wouldn't succeed the first time around, so I only used 1/4 C of dried lentils (actually, they were yellow split peas, maybe that had something to do with it).
