Guest guest
I put everything I can on top of cooked pasta. I like the spiral shaped pasta and will boil a 1-lb. bag and during the week I will put 1/2 can of vegetarian chili on top, the nice night I might steam up vegetables and put on top with some grated cheese, I might saute the pasta in olive oil onion with some garlic and onions and mushrooms and eat. This is quick to fix on my no time to cook nights after work. Nice to hear what other members do, I've got some good tips now. I like the tortilla tostada idea, I can use the other 1/2 can of chili for that the next night. I'm not always the most creative person in the kitchen but I'm learning from everyone in here. Guest guest
This is why I love pasta so much! It's SO versatile!!! You can play around with it's toppings and everything and come up with some really delicious stuff, and when you're a vegetarian, " playing with your food " (remember how the 'rents or grand 'rents used to tell us not to do that??? LOL) can be fun!!! :-D ***Sara***: I put everything I can on top of cooked pasta.
