Guest guest
Melissa, Here are some things to tke into consideration when deciding to go raw. I t depends on who, when, where, why, when, Etc. If you have a strong digestive system, you may be able to do it. If food passes fright through you, then it is not being digested. It should take less than 24 hours for food toexcret but it should not be within a few hhours. How do you know? Eat some beets and see how long it takes for them to come out. They will make the urine and the feces red. Hiw do know if the food is digesting? The stool should float. If it is sining then you are sinking. If it is sinking then eat easy to digest foods. Eat digestive herbs. Easy to digest foods include fruits, steamed veggies, white Basmati rice, mung beans, kitcheree, some veggies, soups, iceberg lettuce, cukes, etc. Most people do not have a strong enough digestive system to go completely raw. Steamed veggies are usually better since the cell walls are partially broken down. It is best to go raw in hotclimates. Most raw foods are " cold foods " . Most of the enerry in the body is used for warmth. It is best to go raw in the summer. Do you get cold easily or are you a red head that wears shorts and a tee shirt to the store at minus 20 F?
