Guest guest
No one will yell at you nice Jean. This recipe is vegetarian, did you want to make them vegan? Does your daughter use Vegan Gourmet a vegan cheese? I've used it and the flavor seems fine, maybe she is using a fat-free cheese with no taste. I think someone can tell me how i can change it so I can serve it to my daughters family. The cheese worries me, because the cheese she serves tastes like cardboard. Thank you. > > > Walnut Cheese Bites (don't yell at me not sure about this one) > > 3 cups 12 ozs. shredded sharp cheddar cheese > 1/4 cup mango chutney, finely chopped > pinch of cayenne pepper > 1/2 cup finely chopped toasted walnuts > 1/4 cup finely chopped parsley > > Mix together cheese, chutney and cayenne pepper in a mixing bowl. Press and form mixture into about 30 small balls. In a shallow dish combine walnuts and parsley. Roll balls in nut mixture to coat. Cover and chill several hours before serving. makes 30 bites. > > > > > > >
