Guest guest Posted April 20, 2006 Report Share Posted April 20, 2006 Peanut Butter Banana Bread 3/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup butter or stick margarine, softened 1 egg 1-1/2 cups mashed bananas 1/2 cup chunky peanut butter 1/4 cup buttermilk 1-1/2 cups flour 1 tsp. baking soda Preheat oven to 350º F. Grease a 9 " loaf pan. Cream brown sugar and butter in a large bowl until fluffy. Add egg. Mix bananas, peanut butter and buttermilk together. Add alternately to creamed mixture with flour and baking soda. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake for 1 hour. Cool in pan for 10 minutes. Remove from pan and cool completely of wire cooling rack.
