Guest guest
i use dried cherries and blueberries in this in place of the raisins and cranberries. Steel Cut Oatmeal 2 1/2 cups water A pinch of salt 1 cup steel cut oats 1/4 cup millet 1 tbsp. yellow raisins 1 tbsp. dried cranberries 1 tbsp. sliced almonds 1 tbsp. brown sugar pinch of cinnamon In a medium saucepan, add water and salt. Bring to a boil then stir in oats and millet.Reduce heat to low. Cover and allow to cook, simmering gently, for 15 to 20 minutes until grain is tender and water is absorbed. It is not necessary to stir the oatmeal as it is cooking. Just before serving add raisins, dried cranberries, almonds and sugar to heat. Stir for 1 minute, then spoon into dishes.Sprinkle with cinnamon. For 2. Messenger with Voice. PC-to-Phone calls for ridiculously low rates.
