Guest guest
Maple Tofu Whip Another one that sounded good but haven't tried, not sure what to put it on, any idea??? or just give me a spoon LOL 1 pound soft tofu 1/2 cup maple syrup 1/2 cup olive oil 2 tablespoons vanilla extract 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice, strained 1/4 teaspoon sea salt 4 tablespoons agar flakes 1 cup cold water 2 tablespoons arrowroot 1 cup plain soy milk Combine tofu, maple syrup, oil, vanilla, lemon juice, and salt in a food processor. Place agar flakes and 1 cup cold water in a heavy-bottomed saucepan over medium heat. Cook, stirring, until mixture reaches a boil. In a separate bowl, combine arrowroot with soy milk, then add to boiling liquid. Cook, stirring continuously, until mixture begins to bubble. Remove from heat. Pour hot mixture gradually into food processor and process until smooth. Pour into a clean container and allow to set in refrigerator until firm, about 1 hour. Whip again just prior to serving.
