Guest guest Posted April 18, 2006 Report Share Posted April 18, 2006 Bruschetta 12 slices French bread, 1/2 " thick 1/2 cup seeded chopped tomato 2 TB chopped green onions 1 TB chopped ripe olives 4 oz. reduced fat cream cheese 1 TB minced fresh basil Place bread on an ungreased baking sheet. Broil 6 " to 8 " from the heat for 3 to 4 minutes, or until golden brown In a small bowl, combine the tomato, onion and olives; set aside. Combine cream cheese and basil; spread over the untoasted side of the bread slices. Broil 3 minutes longer or until cheese is melted and edges are golden brown. Top with tomato mixture.
