Guest guest
My grandmother makes this dish a lot (I don't know where it came form originally) and its great for brunch or any other time. It is kind of designed to be a potluck dish. It is pretty rich and very filling. Church Potatoes 2 lb package frozen hash browns, thawed, or equivelant amount of precooked shredded potatoes 1 diced green pepper, precooked 1/2 c melted butter or margarine 1/4 tsp pepper 1 10-oz cream of mushroom soup 2 cups sour cream 1 tsp salt 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese 1 cup gently crushed cornflakes Mix all ingredients except cornflakes and spread in a 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle top with cornflakes. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees or until bubbly. ~Rachael
