Guest guest Posted April 14, 2006 Report Share Posted April 14, 2006 Hi Donna, They add a cheezy flavor to sauces, etc., and are especially useful to vegans. You can make a really good " cheese " sauce with them that you can use on noodles, potatoes, or vegetables. I always toss a bit of them in my mashed potatoes for added richness. They are not the same as brewers yeast. They can be stored in the pantry and will last a long time.
