Guest guest
My Mother has always had a problem with protein, it does sit in her stomach like a lump for hours. She avoids it as much as possible. I will try using some lemon, thank you for bringing this up. My teacher, Yogi Bhajan said that if people eat so, they should always have it with lemon. The manager of a restaurant I worked at was not sure of this because I suggested using vinegar with a recipe instead of lemon. He said vinegar is fine also. I am sure any acidic food like that would help break down soy. Lemon helps break down the protein and willeven marinate it if left on long enough. Easy to digest foods are best. Everything in moderation. Foods like mung beans and white Basmati rice are one of the easiest things to digest as are fruits and veggies. Ayurveda and Weestern herbalists recommend easy to digest foods. Whenever there is a dis-ease, the first place to go is the digestive system. Most dis-eases start there. People get allergies when an emotion becomes associated with a certain process or food, substance, etc. Fix the digestion first. GB Re Easter alternatives I usually only did turkey for fall and Christmas holidays. Easter/Pascha was more creative. I don't care for ham/pork anyway. We have done Mexican, Chinese, and anything else we could come up with to give us some zest for holiday meals. Now I am being a bit more " forced " towards a veggie lifestyle, not really for religious reasons, mainly for dh's health. I would be content to be lacto-ovo, Messenger with Voice. PC-to-Phone calls for ridiculously low rates.
