Guest guest
Thanks for the article Ross. I would like to see the methodology they used on this study. Maybe that is really the case. However, aI would seriously doubt about the total health of those people who regularly take aspartame. Toxins do not always turn into cancer. Toxins go to the weakest link in the body. Weak joints- arthriitis. weak heart - heart attack, etc. Gb recent articles about Aspartame: one misleading and one good Today MSNBC posted this article... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/12155793/ ....about another study that shows aspartame doesn't cause cancer. When I was a kid, I thought cancer was the only illness that toxic substances cause. Similarly, this article leads people to believe that aspartame is safe. It might be the " truth " that aspartame doesn't cause cancer, but it is not the " whole truth " about aspartame's toxic effects on the body. Another excellent, scientific-based article including a personal (non- scientific) report of a bad aspartame reaction at http://www.ChampHealth.com/aspartametoxicity.html Best wishes, Ross Messenger with Voice. Guest guest
I've been reading all the posts about aspartame and the people who are addicted to diet sodas and finding it all very interesting. Like Donna, I've also got some friends and co-workers I see deluding themselves with the diet sodas that they consume at an alarming rate. We had a discussion out in the hall at work the other day about saving money on groceries and still eating healthy. I pointed out that I had observed at the supermarket that a lot of people are spending a disproportionate amount of their grocery money on beverages of different sorts--the main one being sodas. I was not very popular out in the hall that day...LOL!...mainly there was a chorus of gals saying that they *had* to have their diet cokes, or pepsis or dr peppers or whatever. There were so many that spoke up in heated defense of their purchase and consumption of the diet drinks....and I hadn't even really been challenging them! somehow I imagined I was just providing food for thought. ( for myself as well) As Donna says-- " defense mechanisms " . Paula
