How did you feel from aspartame? I don't drink diet soda anymore, I

think it was giving me stomach cramps.

I'm not so sure I attributed it to aspartame at the time, but I did

feel sluggish, lazy. I gave diet pepsi up as part of my more

natural/organic way of living and eating - looks more and more like a

wise decision.

I have found that if I chew sugarless gum too often (one brand in

particular), I develop painful bumps on my tongue. They'll go away

when I quit chewing gum - and only return after a few frantic days of

chewing....

And I thought quitting smoking had been my toughest challenge! LOL

Well, not to wear my politics on my sleeve... but when I found out

that Donald Rumsfeld was the CEO of Searle at the time they got

approval for aspartame (and it was quite controversial) I made a

decision to never touch it ever again. And I used to love Diet Coke!
