Ah, wasabi. I love it. Now, there is a gentleman in Orgegon that has a

wasabi farm. Now we can buy local wasabi instead of imported. Hooray!

I do leave the whole pod in my recipes, I don't recommend eating the cardamom

pod, it will be hot. Remove or set aside on the plate when serving your dish.

I'm brave, I will eat the pod. The only spice and heat I can't get enough of

are cardamom, horseradish, wasabi, Chinese hot mustard and ginger in large

doses. Now the chili peppers aren't for me.

Sissy eats those like candy. Eck!
