Guest guest
Just thought I would note that 1) I didn't get laid off although many people did 2) My back is much better, okay probably in the fine and normal range 3) Cold is 99% gone 4) I took some photos out in the back yard this morning although I haven't looked at them yet. Thanks to all for your good thoughts. So all in all I'm not tired (especially after two cups of coffee) and in a much better mood while listening to Scarborough Affair by Martin Carthy and a bunch of Irish and Scottish bands/ music and even some bagpipes in there. The sun is even shining at this point in time and space. (Okay it shines all the time but we haven't been seeing much of that shining lately.) Hope all of you are having equally good or even better days. Gary

Guest guest
Hi Gary First of all I want to say how glad I am that you are feeling so much better and that you didn't get laid off and how beautiful your photos are. I found your post really inspiring. I have a tendency to see those things that aren't going the way I want them to, rather than all the things that make my life worthwhile. This was a timely reminder. Today is a beautiful sunny day here in Edinburgh and the first day this year that I've been able to hang out my washing with any prospect of it drying. I feel less tired than I have in months and I believe I'm beginning to get better. I have friends on the other side of the planet who are able to step into my living room on a Sunday morning and inspire me, even though we've never met. Life is pretty special. I'm off to hunt out one of my old Martin Carthy albums... Thank you.
