I live in Cleveland, Ohio - does anyone know any

stores selling organic food in the area and or

vegitarian restaurants?

The selection at Giant Eagle, Tops and Heinins is slim

at best.

join a buying club and/or a CSA! go to unitedbuyingclubs.com and find a

buying club near you, and go to localharvest.org to find a farmer's

market/CSA program near you. in our coop/buying club, we regularly split

organic produce and items like yogurt or 50 lb. bags of beans. the only

" negative " is that you need to get used to a bit of bulk-buying, but for

certain things it could really be helpful (and cheaper) for you. and the

local/CSA farmers you can usually talk to about your needs (like if you want

only organic veggies, etc.), so you're also helping your local economy and

keeping these farmers in business.

Hi! I grew up in Cleve! Haven't lived there in awhile so not totally

sure, but there was Wild Oats (on the East side), a place called the

Mustard Seed (can't remember what neighborhood), Trader Joe's (near

Westlake area) there is supposed to be a vegan grocery somewhere in

Lakewood, Westlake,...Check the Yellow Pages under Health food. My

parents still live there, and I struggle to find " full-on " veggie

places when I visit.

good luck,
