" ~ Thanks a bunch for that insight into the flavor and texture of fiddleheads. i sure wish they were plentiful around here so Donna and i could try some soon. One more reason for me to want to visit Alaska! i have been on an Alaskan reading bender lately... on my third book about homesteading experiences up there; i just love it, but i think it is making my kids nervous! *lol* Oh, and i know you were kidding about the smokes, but i did want to say my brand is additive-free natural cigs and the absolutely do not test on animals, so cruelty-free, too! Yay. They are more expensive, but worth it to me and since i only have maybe one a day [some days none], i feel i can afford the splurge. i enjoy your posts, Guru! ~ pt ~ Impart as much as you can of your spiritual being to those who are on the road with you, and accept as something precious what comes back to you from them. ~ Albert Schweitzer (01/14/1875-1965)
Guest guest
PT, Tell us when you come up here and we'll have a nice pot of herbal tea on the stove. I don't think there are too many ways to homestead here anymore. The only homesteading i can think of is a lottery.
