actually the fat in pistachios (monounsaturated)is a

good fat and is important in a healthy diet. it has

been shown to lower cholesterol levels in the body;

therefore, lowering the risk of heart disease.

monounsaturated fat is found in other nuts and olive

oil too. so, don't feel bad about eating pistachios.

We love pistachios in L.A. I can drive and even talk on the phone while I eat

them. I suck on them and put the split in the nut over the front of my bottom

teeth and they open right up. Yummy! Donna
