Guest guest
Two " fake meat " stories: In 1969, when I was a teenager and beginning my travels down Vegetarian Road, at a dinner party, my mother glopped the contents of a can of " fake meat " she had gotten at a dusty " health food store " onto my plate. It was disgusting in texture and taste. She made me eat it, and punished me later for being so rude in frot of her guests. At a prevouus job, working with individuals with behavioral disabilities, one day I made their lunches with Morning Star Farms strips, lettuce, and tomato. One of the consumers of this meal thought he was out-smarting me! He refused to eat the vegetables, removing the lettuce and tomato from between his bread. Then... he inhaled several sandwiches of just the strips. :^) Even mentioned in Oliver Twist, eating meat increases agressive behavior. ===== " The cat did not respond. She did not believe in paraphrasing anybody. If people pursued this same feline wisdom, there'd be a lot fewer misunderstandings.
