Guest guest
Lentil Loaf 1 c lentils 3 c veg broth 2 c oats 1 c ketchup 2 heaping tbsp nayonaise 1 tbsp worchestershire sauce 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 tbsp minced garlic 1/2 cup sliced almonds Bring the broth to a boil and add lentils. Simmer 20 minutes. Turn off heat and stir in oats, 3/4 cup ketchup, nayonaise, worchestershire sauce, soy sauce, garlic, almonds, and 1/2 cup water. Stir well and place in a greased loaf pan. Top with remaining ketchup and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serve with mashed potatoes, mushroom gravy, and a green vegetable. Hi Jenni, I found this under files for the group and then click on main dishes #2 and then click on unmeatloaf recipes and there will be a few lentil loaves. This is loaf 32 This is the one I've tried. I want to try the others soon. This one is vegan and you can crumble it and use in tacos also............ " Sing with me, sing for the years. Guest guest
This is Veronica's and PT has one in there and I think I saw one more. It's really a great one and it makes a huge amount. I use the old fashioned rolled oats, not the one minute quick cook. Gives it extra fiber and bulk. Freezes well so you might want to freeze 1/2 of it. You're welcome. There are some good recipes in the files. Now I need to stay home and cook.LOL Jenni Billings <jenni wrote: mmmmmmm! that sounds yummy... and apparently I'm brainless, .. or preoccupied! because I looked in there ! argh! thanks Donna!
