Guest guest
Yes, very true....not healthfood by any means, but still better than a BigMac; which is what started this thread. *lol* Like any fastfood or sugar-treat it should not be eaten every day and in moderation, so very good point made about the hydrogenated oils. So many tortillas on the market contain that; it is a shame. i really like Subway, too. i don't usually eat salads when i dine out though. i get sick of that being our only veggie choice most times. Usually they are just full of iceberg lettuce and really bland pale tomatoes, yet they charge a hefty price for them. i will have to check out the ones at Subway though. What do they typically contain? ~ pt ~ Choose the willow of the streams, Choose the hazel of the rocks, Choose the alder of the marshes, Choose the birch of the waterfalls, Choose the ash of the shade, Choose the yew of resilience, Choose the elm of the brae, Choose the oak of the sun. ~ Old Scottish rhyme for Beltaine ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~> , " Kelly " <redard@s...> wrote: > Although they don't contain lard, the Taco Bell 7-layer tortillas and > beans contain hydrogenated oils.
