Jicama and beans

Jicama is good in salsa, too. That's how I got my

husband to eat it :)

 

Another herb that's supposed to be good with

preventing flatulance is epazote. It's Mexican, so

that definately takes your beans in a certain

direction, but it doesn't have a really strong flavor.

I've read about that but never been able to find it to try. It works

well? What is the flavor?

I use epazote all the time. Got a little hunk from my broth-in-laws friend that

brought a plant from mexico. It really works. A few months back I sent a web

address where you can buy the seeds to grow it.
