~ i have never made those myself before, but i

love to order them whenever i see them on a menu.

The uncooked version i have seen called " Summer

Rolls " ; maybe because they are lighter and more

summer fresh without the frying.

The rolls you described sure sound zippy! [yum]

i have had the uncooked rolls with just plain noodles,

like very thin rice vermacelli, and some sliced green

onions, sprigs of a mild mint, and carrot shreds....

very light salad type. The sauces for dipping were more

spicy or salty-sweet. i need to try to make them myself

for dinner soon now that the weather is getting warm.

You've inspired me! Thanks. *s*
