I saw them marked down 60% off so now I will get one and try it. I do like

breads browned though. Thank you both..............Donna

Ditto on the browning! I also one time was making plantain tarts for

a wine tasting party (I was catering it for a friend), and I used my

small silicone pans, and also my metal pans so I'd have enough.... the

metal ones browned better, and the some of the silicone ones were

puffier - if you looked at the bottom of it, it was slightly domed,

not flat. Still tasted great. Silicone is inert, so it's safe.
