Guest guest
Veronica - thanks for the reminder...it is affordable and I'd forgotten about it! All this talk about emus - they are so interesting. It just prompted me to mention two of my favorite children's books that are not super popular here, they are Australian. If you have little ones and like emus (if you don't these books will probably cause you to at least like them a little) you should try and find copies of Edward the Emu and the follow up, Edwina the Emu by Sheena Knowles and the illustrator is Clement. They have lovely cadence, are hysterical and the illustrations wonderful!! Edward is in a zoo and thinks it is much more fun to be any of the other animals, so he hangs out with the snake, the lion, etc. Then in her book Edwina leaves Edward on the nest of 10 eggs to go looking for a job! m
