Guest guest
People from my church regularly visit homeless and formerly homeless people at a local org and share with them a meal as well a music/poetry. Anyway, we have one of our potlucks Sunday. I won't have much time to cook anything Saturday, as I will be out of town, but can anyone suggest good potluck type recipes? I've taken all types of stuff before: Irish potatoes, pasta salad, mac and cheese, potato salad, etc. but any new unique ideas would be welcome Jen For most of history, Unknown was a woman. - Virginia Woolf, 1882 - 1941
Guest guest
The EASIEST potluck recipe I have is as follows: Baked Dill Havarti 1 block of dill Havarti cheese 1 package of pre-made crescent roll dough (the tubes in the refrigerated section) Pinch all of the triangles of dough together to make a sheet (takes a few seconds). Wrap dough around cheese. Place cheese, with the pinched together dough on top, in baking dish and bake according to dough instructions on the tube. Five minutes before the dough should be done, create a small opening at the top (where you pinched the dough together). When finished baking, serve immediately. You can either serve it with a knife (people cut out slices - like small pie pieces), OR people can just break off pieces of dough and eat as finger food. Everyone LOVES this dish!! Enjoy!
