yeah and when they help make it it is much better because they are more in an

accepting mode. Doesn't always fly but it helps :o)

Last night you won't believe what I did. I have a market by me called save a

lot. (reminds us of the Simpson's " try and save " ) LOL Anyway they have this

generic brand of hamburger helper called lasagna. When I read the package it is

actually pretty good. The only bad ingredient is the monosodium glutamate but

it's one of the last ingredients/

Sooooo, I bought this and used some olive oil and beans in place of the meat, a

can of red beans to be exact. I added some grated sharp cheese, one grated

onion, some garlic powder, some fresh basil, and some cut up tomatoes. Family

loved it. I did not tell them anything about the generic hamburger helper and

buried the boxes at the bottom of the trash can :o)

blessings,

Chanda

Re: food idea suggestions ....Hi Chanda

Adding barley and potatoes will make the veggie soups thick. Glad you enjoyed

your wraps. They are soooooooooooooooooooooo good, great healthy kids food.

Much better than " Lunchable " , huh?.Donna

Re: food idea suggestions ....Hi Jenni

Congrats! You found your new place. Gosh Jenni, my whole family is

vegetarian now except for my brother-in-law. My niece eats fish now and then but

she never misses it when she's here for weeks during her college break. I guess

if you don't want to cook meats for seafood really you might buy a precooked

chicken from the grocery store and she can eat off that. Do you think she would

enjoy some of the homemade things like potato tacos (they are heaven) and the

lentil loaf with mashed potatoes or the wonderful brown rice recipe PT posted,

how about some thick veggie soups, there are so many wonderful dishes in the

files maybe you could get around it..........Donna
