This recipe was a big hit over the weekend.

Everyone loved it, and i ate too much of it

myself! Bad, bad, bad....hehehe

Chocolate Pudding Squares

2 cups self-rising flour *~*

1 1/2 cups finely chopped walnuts

2/3 cup brown sugar

1 cup butter, melted

1 package (8 oz.) Neufch‰tel cheese,

softened

1 cup confectioners' sugar

1 carton (8 oz.) frozen whipped topping,

thawed, divided

3 cups cold milk

1 package (5.9 oz.) instant chocolate

pudding mix

In a bowl, combine the flour, walnuts, and

brown sugar. Stir in butter. Press into an

ungreased 13 x 9 inch baking dish.

Bake at 375û for 15 to 20 minutes or until

lightly browned. Cool completely.

In a mixing bowl, beat the cheese and

confectioners' sugar until smooth. Fold i

n 1 cup whipped topping. Spread over

the cooled crust.

In another bowl, whisk the milk with the

pudding mix for about 2 minutes until it

thickens. Pour over cheese mixture and

spread evenly. Cover with remaining

whipped topping and chill until set. Cut into squares.

Yield: 12 to 15 servings.

*~* As a substitute for each cup of self-rising

flour, place 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder and

1/2 tsp. salt in a measuring cup.

Add all-purpose flour to measure 1 cup.
