Guest guest
Don't forget to put an orange on your Seder plate! :^) Adding an orange on a Seder plate is a not-so-new-anymore trend. It began when an orthodox rabbi in Israel, when asked why a woman couldn't participate, holding the Torah during a service, replied sarcasticly that " A woman belongs on the bimah as an orange belongs on the Seder plate. " So, more and more jews, world-wide, now add an orange on their Seder plates as a response to this comment! Yom tov! ===== Nothing like last minute planning... I just can't get it together lately! I just found this site though for any who may be interested: http://chefmom.com/articles/veggieseder.htm It has some recipe's I've not encountered yet and some interesting info too! I really need to go start getting organized.. Happy Earth Day (my hubby and I met at the big Boston anniversary celebration back about 15 yrs ago) and Chag Sameach!! " The cat did not respond. She did not believe in paraphrasing anybody. If people pursued this same feline wisdom, there'd be a lot fewer misunderstandings.
