Guest guest
Tamale pie has always been a big hit with the meat aficionados I've cooked for. So is my cherry chocolate pie. Lasagna is another, or pasta with artichoke sauce, salad, garlic bread. The more familiar the foods, the better. Chili and cornbread is another popular choice. I also have a black bean casserole that always goes over well. Oh and the indonesian salad in compassionate cook is always popular (serve with crusty bread or a homemade quick bread)! I used to cook for a veg restaurant who's majority of clientele were not veg and a lot of my friends are meat-eaters, so I've had a lot of practice. They always give my food rave reviews. Oh and sweet and sour tofu is a big favorite...especially served with homemade eggrolls (the wrappers at most asian markets are vegan). Good luck! Guest guest
Veronica, those all are awesome suggestions. Keeping it simple and familiar is the key to pleasing the omnivore palate. It also takes the stress and headache out of food prep when you are also entertaining your guests. ~ pt ~ Patriotism is a lively sense of collective responsibility.
