Guest guest
Heya Donna. I didn't actually make the pizza itself - just bought it and ate it. There is a grocery store that made them in their deli. It was basically a baked potato on pizza dough. Instead of a traditional sauce, the base (if i'm remembering correctly, it's been awhile) was like a creamy rich combo of cream cheese and sour cream. It also had green onions on it, cheese and layers of sliced potatoes (fairly thick). They usually have a choice of the pizza with or without bac*n, and if the " no b*con " isn't available, you can request that they make one without. I'm not sure if Cali. has the Randalls grocery chain out there. I'm not even sure if they still make it. I haven't shopped there in awhile, but remembering this pizza is making me want to take the trip out to one, lol. Take care, Shawn , GeminiDragon <thelilacflower> wrote: > Hi Shawn, > I don't use pasta when I make the potato lasagna. I just layer using long thin slices of a large russet potato. try that. > How was the pizza with potato on it made? Was there sauce and the potato on top? I'm curious now. I have a Boboli in the freezer and ready to make.........(:- ))))) Donna >
