Guest guest
I thought about the thyroid since I had a cousin that gained weight and he couldn't get enough sleep. My Uncle was very mean to him, he thought he was on drugs because the year before he found a teeny bit of pot in his jacket pocket. He took him to the doctors to run a drug test and he was clean but his thyroid was so low that he was in a serious condition by that time. My nephew also gets very sluggish is he misses a meal or doesn't have his complex carbs. I have a few friends with fibromyalgia and I know this causes a person to feel very tired and weak at times. I truly feel the vegetarian diet is not lacking anything and if you look at our recipes you can see we eat 75% more healthy foods than the hamburger and fried chicken crowd. I'm so impressed with your brown rice recipe. Peanut butter in rice, I will sure try it. I printed the recipe and can't wait....................Donna ~ PT ~ <patchouli_troll wrote: Good point, Donna. i forgot about the thyroid. My dh was having this same lethargy and after a blood test at the doctor they discovered it was his thyroid. There are so many reasons why a person might be feeling tired and sluggish. i do hope penni and her doctor can find a cure that works well for her. ~ pt ~ You are told a lot about your education, but some beautiful, sacred memory, preserved since childhood, is perhaps the best education of all. - Fyodor Mikhaylovich Dostoevsky (1821-1881) ~~~*~~~*~~~*~~~> , GeminiDragon < thelilacflower> wrote: > <thelilacflower> wrote:Hi Julie, > You might want to have your blood checked to make sure your thyroid isn't off, etc. > The vegetarian diet I doubt is making you tired and worn feeling. That to me is a myth.
