Hey J Lyn,

You will like the soy milk. Whip up a delicious vegetarian meal and your

friends will love it. Give it a go and watch and see. My live on meat diet

brother-in-law is about 70 percent vegetarian now and I've converted lots of

people by just letting them taste dishes I make. They are usually very curious

and will start to ask questions or ask for recipes. When you push it on them,

they will back off. Temp them with your new found recipes. Try some from our

files, they are tried and true. We are always here to help you............Happy

evening, Donna

Thanks GeminiDragon :)

I went to the store after work and bought a half gallon of soy milk. I haven't

tried it yet though. I need to get some vegatarian friends where I live!

I love Silk but I use other soy and rice milk brands also.

This is how I make my brown rice.

I use one cup of rice to 2 1/2 cups of veggie broth. I add chopped onion to the

broth and rinsed rice. I bring to a boil and simmer on very low heat for about

40 minutes. About 5 minutes before it's done I add a handful of frozen peas or

frozen mixed veggies and a a little seasoned non-salt like Mrs. Dash or

Spike................Donna

I am new to the veggies cooking. DOes anyone have a relatively easy

but kicked up recipe for brown rice (without beans)?

Second question, does any one use the Silk " milk " products. I stopped

actually drinking milk, but I have a terrible craving for some cereal.

Thanks everybody!
