I use one cup of rice to 2 1/2 cups of veggie broth. I add chopped onion to the broth and rinsed rice. I bring to a boil and simmer on very low heat for about 40 minutes. About 5 minutes before it's done I add a handful of frozen peas or frozen mixed veggies and a a little seasoned non-salt like Mrs. Dash or Spike................Donna Lyn <poet_atrabilious wrote: I am new to the veggies cooking.
