You are in Norway if I remember. Crisco is a brand name of a canned vegetable

shortening. Those cookies work with butter or stick margaribe also.

What exactly *is* CRISCO??

I remember I tried to bake a pie with a recipe that I found on-line (to be

specific: I tried to bake " The TWIN PEAKS cherry pie ) and it had crisco in

it, but I wasn't able to find out what it was (tried dictionaries, on-line

searches, etc..) Ended up " deciding " it is some kind of fatty substance so I

think maybe I replaced it with some sort of butter..? which didn't really work

out well..
