Guest guest
As I've mentioned before, I am quite happy to sit down with a big bowl of steamed broccoli and I did just that a while ago. But I wanted to do something different, not use butter and not use salt. So I looked through my cupboards to see what sounded good; this is what I came up with. Cut up one head of broccoli into large florets. Peel the stem, and cut into 1/2 " discs. Put into steamer basket and allow water to come to full boil. After 1 minute remove from heat and let continue to steam for 2-3 minutes more, or until desired doneness. I like my broccoli slightly crisp. Pour broccoli into a large bowl. Sprinkle generously with Toasted Sesame Oil. Sprinkle generously with whole Flax Seeds. Toss gently to coat. Enjoy! Denise
